Croatian international striker was formally presented as a new Juventus player.

After one season at Atletico Madrid, Mario Mandžukić moved to Italy, to join the Champions League runner-up Juventus.

Croatian striker shared his first impressions during the "Mario Mandžukić Day" at Juventus' home.

"I have liked Juventus for a long time, this is a prestige club with a lot of great players. It was easy to decide to come to Juventus", he said.

Mandžukić has already attended his first training session and added: "To play against Juventus was one of the most difficult challenges of my career. Finally I will not have to play against Juventus anymore".

"I can promise to give my best for this club, to put in maximum effort, regardless of what is asked from me. It is not only the goals that count, I can support another striker as well, as long Juventus is successful. Besides, Buffon was one of my childhood idols, and I have chosen no. 17 shirt because I wear it in the Croatian national team, and I hold it dear", he concluded.
