"Croatia is a small country, but our football is full of quality, with so many good players. Considering the conditions we live in, it is really an honour to play at nine out of eleven major tournaments. However, qualifying for France is not the end of the road for Croatia, we must not let this opportunity slip away. We have to try and repeat the success of '98 generation, to achieve something above average, and to convert our talent into a great result", said Croatia head coach Ante Čačić.
