Croatia hosts Ukraine in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on 24 March, and four days later visits Tallinn in the international friendly against Estonia.
Vedran Ćorluka, Lokomotiv Moscow and Croatia defender, is to miss out both matches. On Saturday, Ćorluka sustained a hamstring injury in the league match against city rivals Spartak Moscow. The match ended in a draw (1:1), with the Croatia international substituted at half-time.
Croatia head coach Ante Čačić has immediately made contact with his defender and later decided not to call-up a replacement.
Vedran Ćorluka has been capped on 95 occasions, with four goals scored.
