On 12 October, Rijeka will host the UEFA Nations League encounter between Croatia and England, to be played behind closed doors. Three days later, the Rujevica Stadium will host the friendly match with Jordan.

The national team meets on 8 October, and head coach Dalić has presented the 26-man squad list, the same for Portugal and Spain encounters in September - including Dejan Lovren, Ante Rebić, and Andrej Kramarić, who recovered from injuries.
"Considering the crucial Croatia U-21 clash against Greece, it is agreed with my colleague Nenad Gračan to leave several players to our U-21 team. We wish them good luck and a win over Greece", said Dalić.
