Croatia U-17 secures EURO 2015 spot after winning all three matches in the Elite Round.

Dario Bašić's men completed the Elite Round matches with a maximum of nine points, winning with a clean sheet against hosts Azerbaijan 4:0, Serbia 3:0 and Portugal 1:0. Croatia captain Moro scored the decisive goal on Sunday against the Portuguese, when a draw was also enough to stay at the top of the qualifying group.

Croatia thus became one of the 16 participants of the European Championship in Bulgaria this May.

"Congratulations on an excellent performance and a convincing victory in the qualifying group. Our players have shown real quality against tough opposition and confirmed their potential. Youth teams build the future of Croatian football", said Croatia Football Federation president Davor Šuker.

"We were aware of the quality of this team, and EURO berth was one of our goals. Without any pressure, we hope to reach the Top 6 and make it to the World Cup", said Croatia Football Federation technical director Romeo Jozak.

Croatia U-17 coach Dario Bašić emphasized: "We have deserved to go through, since the player gave their all, and we are happy to await the final draw. With this kind of character, this generation can go far".

Group 2:
1. Croatia 9
2. Portugal 4
3. Serbia 4
4. Azerbaijan 0
