Croatia U-17 awaits the Austria encounter with a win, while Matko Babić and Borna Sosa believe their team can record another positive result.

On Wednesday, Dario Bašić's men faced hosts Bulgaria in Stara Zagora to open their EURO 2015 account and won 2:0 to take lead in Group A, ahead of Austria and Spain.

"I think that we have played well, the Bulgarians could not get the ball in the first half. I am happy for my first Croatia goal in my debut. My performances keep getting better, and I hope to continue in that manner. I think I fit in well in this team", said Matko Babić, who scored the first Croatian goal of the tournament.

Against Austria, Croatia can make another step towards second round: "Austria is good, but we believe Croatia is better, and we will try to show that on the pitch".

"Austria is a more defensive team than Spain, so I think this match will be similar to the Bulgaria encounter", added Borna Sosa.

Croatia will hold another training session at Friday noon, with head coach Bašić having all of his players at his disposal, even Hudećek, who returns from suspension.

"We had had long preparations for Bulgaria, since the first match is the most important. We all gave our best shot, and performed excellently in the first hour of play. Then we became a bit nervous, their crowd started to cheer them on, but all is well that ends well. Croatia has one big advantage, our players have been together for a long time and we understand each other and make it easier for our teammates", said Sosa.
