Westin Zagreb Hotel hosted the Croatian Football Federation Assembly, with Mladen Vedriš and Branko Mikša voted as honorary presidents, and Davor Šuker expressing his satisfaction speaking of his organization.

Croatia Football Federation president, Davor Šuker, opened the Assembly session remembering what has been done in the past year and wished a lot of success to the senior national team at the European Championships in France next year.

"Here at HNS, we were dedicated to everyday work on many levels, and we want to be even better, day after day, match after match, with the government support for necessary infrastructure. The power of Croatian football will not fade away, and let us be proud for achieving the major goal, reaching the EURO 2016", said Šuker.

Former HNS presidents Mladen Vedriš and Branko Mikša were made honorary presidents, while the financial and work plans for 2016 were accepted. It is expected that HNS will build the football center at Zagreb's Svetice in 2016, using both allocated UEFA funds and HNS funding.

"I am happy to have a strong federation, a quality structure. We have over 45 employees, and we have to give a boost to our youth selections. It is a smart move to invest in them, they are the future, for the years to come", said Šuker.
