The Medical Committee of the Croatian Football Federation is in constant contact with the Croatian Olympic Committee and UEFA regarding the situation of the spread of SARS-CoV-2. Zdravstvena komisija 

In accordance with the recommendations of Croatian experts on infectious diseases and the frequent changes in the situation surrounding the virus, we recommend regularly checking for updates at the websites of the Croatian Health Ministry and acting according to their instructions.

The best safety measure against the virus is frequent hygiene, including washing one's hands, using single-use wipes that should be throw out immediately after use, and isolating individuals who may be infected with the virus as early as possible.

When players are arriving from abroad, please contact each player individually to check whether they have potentially been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Please also make sure to account for the increased need for single-use gloves, surgical masks, disinfectant gels and other hygienic supplies.

When arriving at a team hotel, please check whether any of the staff show symptoms of the virus or have traveled abroad during the previous two weeks. In case you believe a player or a member of your team staff may be infected with the novel coronavirus, please act according to the instructions of the Croatian Health Ministry and report this to the relevant government institutions.

Faced with the problem of the coronavirus spread, we would like to notify you that it is mandatory to report the departure of all athletes and sports teams to countries where the virus has been detected. You can submit your notification to the Croatian Public Health Office via phone or to the Croatian Olympic Committee via e-mail and phone.
