"On behalf of Croatian Football Federation and my own I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organization of the Croatia - Norway match.

It was beautiful to see Maksimir Stadium full to the maximum capacity available for this qualifier, and we are proud that no serious incidents were recorded. Croatia can be, and must be, a country free of racism, discrimination and stadium violence. After the match in Italy, interrupted for hooliganism, this is a major step forward, and we will do everything in our power to continue on that path.

I would like to congratulate, and also express gratitude, to the Croatian police, that did an excellent job before, during, and after the match, providing maximum assistance to Croatian Football Federation in order to eliminate security problems.

It was an exceptional honour to have Croatian president, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, support our Vatreni. In this way, she has shown a great deal of respect to football and sport in general.

Of course, I want to thank Croatian national team players and coaching staff for another magnificent performance and important victory on the way to France 2016.
